The Fort Irwin and National Training Center community commemorated the 50th Anniversary of U.S. involvement in Vietnam, Saturday, April 18, 2015, by inviting Vietnam War era veterans to the installation for the day, honoring their service and sacrifice. The day included a group photo, homecoming parade, motorcycle procession and day of gratitude for the more than 800 Vietnam era veterans, family members and those who support both who attended.
